Morpheus8 for early signs of sagging from volume loss?

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

Morpheus 8 is an excellent treatment for sagging or skin laxity from volume loss. The question has been asked "can't Morpheus 8 melt fat or reduce volume that I have?" The answer is yes it can, but that is why it is very important to go to someone who has done several Morpheus 8 treatments on the face and that knows facial and skin anatomy in order to do appropriate depths/settings with the Morpheus. The thickness of the skin can very greatly by the area of the body and on the face as well as by each individual person. The questions that I would recommend that you are asking are: 1) Are you familiar with proper depths or settings based on the chosen area to be treated and 2) what kind of experience do you have with using Morpheus 8?

Morpheus is absolutely amazing for sagging skin. It tightens muscles, plumps collagen, fills in defects. There is no risk of loss of volume as long as you stick to a maximum depth of 3mm. If you go 4mm or deeper you can get some fat loss. if you stick to 3 or below you get filling and plumping and tightening only.

Morpheus8 is both patient and operator specific. Based on your description, Morpheus8 could be the right option for you. The modality will cause collagen and elastin regeneration, in most patients the lines will disappear and the skin will get tighter. It is safe to always go slow the first time, and then be more aggressive if needed.
