Can genioplasty change the direction my chin projects? (Photo)

I am fine with how far out my chin projects, but it projects too far downward, especially noticeable when smiling. Just was curious whether this procedure may be able to change that.

A genioplasty can be done to bring the jaw forward, but there are ways to achieve the same goal faster and with an easier recovery. A chin implant, for example, can be done right in the office. We do many chin surgeries and can help

There are many options and we treat this often. We can augment or reduce the jaw in almost any dimension and direction to create the shape you want. There are sometimes other procedures that are recommended together with jaw surgery to improve the appearance. A video consultation is a great step.
