The encircled area--the linear horizontal depression between the lower lip and the upper chin in the photo is called the labial-mental furrow or simply "mental crease." For experienced injectors, this is a commonly treated area. And elevating and smoothing this area more should achieve greater harmony between the projections of the lips and the chin in both front-face and profile views. Yes, Putting a filler in this area can make that crease less deep and can also elongate your chin. This is some of my patients favorite place to be injected.
