Hi, I am a young adult female (early 20s) and I got an under eye fat transfer a little over 1 year ago. My right eye has always had a lump under it but recently (about 1.5 months ago) it has swollen up to be huge and the lumps under it are hard. I went to my surgeon and he gave me a kenalog injection almost 4 weeks ago and the swelling went down the first week after the injection, but now its back. Its not painful just big and very noticeable. Not sure what to do or why this is even happening :(

Thank you for your inquiry! It sounds like you would be a great candidate for a lower face/necklift as that will remove any excess skin/laxity. The best ways to add volume back to the face after a weight loss would be with filler or a fat transfer. I recommend scheduling a consultation...
The rate of fat retention might be significantly lower due to factors related to autoimmune status, which can impact the body's response to procedures and overall recovery outcomes.
