Facial fat transfer (FAMI) vs cheeklift + blepharoplasty - or both? (Photo)

I am researching options to restore lost volume in the midface area. So far I have had different recommendations, where one doctor suggests a full face FAMI fat grafting, and another - a combination of cheeklift and lower blepharoplasty (that could be combined with facial fat graft for enhanced result). I'm 44, looking for a natural effect, accumulated over time, rather than a drastic change. My skin tonus is pretty good, with good elasticity and mild sagging, mostly in the midface area.

That is very complex problem so that every area of fat redundancy may need to be treated differently. Options are: liposuction with fine cannula, direct excision, steroid injections, massage. You should find a very experienced board certified plastic surgeon to treat you, otherwise you may end...

Correction of forehead slope asymmetry may be achieved with fillers, HA granules, fat or cadaver bone grafts. The other option would be advancement of the hairline (high forehead) which would also camouflage asymmetry of forehead slope. Hope this helps.

It has been our experience in over 25 years of facial fat grafting that retention of fat grafts around mouth and lips is minimal, around 10-15%. We are now collecting data using a combination of Renuva with nano and micro fat grafts but there is no final conclusion yet. Hope this helps.
