Is CO2 laser treatment a good option for a reoccurring Bartholin Cyst?

I have read many horror stories of women who have had marsupialization, drainage, and removal of the Bartholin gland--ranging from pain years later to disfigurement to sexual issues--so I would like to avoid these procedures if possible. I would like information, but I'm having trouble locating a gyno that performs this method of treatment in my area and I'm finding limited information on the web, outside of medical journal articles and studies.

If the filler has been placed deep under the skin, the laser should not affect it. It might however reduce prominence of the filler in more superficial areas, such as the lip boarder. Christian Drehsen, MD
