Pricing really varies depending on the surgeon, location, and several other factors. $8000 to $9000 would be the average in Toronto. It is important to know that the size of the implant does not affect pricing generally speaking.
The cost of your surgery will not be affected by the size of the implant that you choose. But it will be affected by the type of implant (saline, silicone gel, form stable, etc), the surgeon your choose, the anesthesia and operating facility, among other things. The costs vary considerably by geographic location and from surgeon to surgeon.
Cost varies by geographic location, surgeon and implant chosen (not the size of the implant; saline more expensive than round silicone and contour silicone more than round silicone). My advice is to not save a few dollars by having an unqulaified surgeon do your surgery and/or having your surgery in a non-accredited facility. Such can put your safety as well as the quality of your result. Cheap work is not so inexpensive if it has to be redone. Make sure your surgeon is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons - plasticsurgery.org will give you a list of such qualified surgeons in your area.
In my practice, saline would be $2500.00 and silicone gel $3500.00 total. The size (unless greater than 1000cc) does not affect the price.
There may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure ( quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider, type of breast implants… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find some average costs of surgery listed on this website and on individual plastic surgeons' websites as well (please see attached link). In regards to outcome of the planned procedure, more important than costs of the procedures will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. Ask to see lots of examples of their work and preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done.Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.Again, I would also suggest that you do not base your selection of plastic surgeon primarily on costs of surgery; keep in mind that revisionary surgery may be more costly in many ways. Best wishes.
The cost of breast augmentation varies greatly and different cities and with different surgeons. NextExpect to pay more for very experienced surgeons who are quite busy. You can check the cost here on Realself by searching for cost of breast implants. You will see a map that will show the average cost and all major cities.
I prefer submuscular breast implant placement and have not been a big fan of anatomic implants because of the rotation possiblity.
Your allergy to latex has no relationship to breast augmentation. Breast implants are made of a polymer of dimethyl polysiloxane to which no antibody has ever been demonstrated.
Thank you for your question. The main concern about upper respiratory symptoms such as coughing, productive cough, sneezing, nasal discharge and other symptoms is the effect this will have on your anesthesia.Generally speaking most anesthesiologists will not perform anesthesia on patients...
