I don't like lidocaine in filler. How much is in a syringe of Restylane?

How much is in a syringe of Restylane and is there a benefit to filler w out lido? Or vice versa? Thanks Kat

Thanks for this question. The biggest difference between lidocaine and no lidocaine is there is more pain with injections that lack lidocaine. This statement is especially true for the lips! Your doctor should be able to get the product without lidocaine from the manufacturer.Best wishes. Dr. ALDO

Thank you for your question. Yes, you can ask your injector to use Restylane without lidocaine. However, you will need to let them know ahead of time to ensure they have it available for you. Although, most patients prefer the fillers with lidocaine as it makes treatment less painful. I recommend discussing your concerns with your injector. Best of Luck!

You can request to be injected with Restylane without lidocaine. You would just need to let them know ahead of time to ensure that they have it for you.  The manufacturer also manufactures it without lidocaine.  However, most patients prefer to have lidocaine in it as it makes the process less painful.
