My doctor recommended anywhere from 450 ccs - 550 ccs. I am 5'7" 145 lbs with a BWD is 13.8. I am not looking to go above the "typical" DD due to finding bras and being active. I know not to focus on cup size too much but I want to get different opinions on what would be best for my body type based on stats.
Answer: Size? It's difficult to estimate cup size but if I were to make an educated guess it would be around a D cup. You are a great candidate for surgery! Best of luck!

Answer: Breast Augmentation with Mini Ultimate Breast Lift™ At size 32 or 34 each 100 cc’s of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change. At size 36 or 38 each 200 cc’s of implant corresponds to 1 cup size change.500 to 550 cc implants are large, will not fit retro-pectoral, will descend inferiorly and laterally requiring revision.22% of women who undergo breast augmentation alone require revision within 2 years because they are dissatisfied.Frequent causes of dissatisfaction are over augmentation and not performing a simultaneous lift when needed.Just as important as implant is a lift.I recommend a new technique called Breast Augmentation with Mini Ultimate Breast Lift™.Using only a circumareola incision it is possible to reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage.Aligning the areola, breast tissue and implant over the bony prominence of the chest wall maximizes anterior projection with a minimal size implant.Small round textured silicone gel implants placed retro-pectoral look and feel more natural, are more stable, less likely to ripple or have complications needing revision.Implant profile is irrelevant in the retro-pectoral position since the muscle compresses it.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Think shape and technique not size. To Avoid the 'Typical Augmented Look" Think Subfascial and Anatomic Implants Dear Lindsmarie,The actual size of the implant is a lot less important than shape and technique. A 500cc round projecting implant in the submuscular position will likely give you the ropund separted look you wish to avoid. I use a technique called Cold-Subfascial Breast Augmentation and anatomically shaped implants to deliver very natural appearing full breasts. I would avoid round implants and avoid sunbmuscular techniques as this will likely emphasize the separation of your breasts. I hope this helps! All the best,Rian A. Maercks M.D.

Answer: What's the best volume for your goals? Thanks for your question, and for the photographs. It's very hard to correlate C C.s and cup size. Different stores and manufacturers measure cup size differently. In my own practice I rarely quote a cup size because it is just not very precise.Generally I find that the best teaching tool is to allow patients to put actual implants in a testing bra to get a sense of the width, projection, and volume that they're looking for. I personally believe that looking at actual implants on your own frame is the best teaching tool. Photographs can also help provide information about your goals as well. While there are other options such as computer programs, bags of rice and water, actual implants have specific dimensions that I don't feel that these things do well at mimicking.Ask your surgeon to show you examples of different implants, but more importantly, bring some different blouses with you and even a friend for an opinion. Think less about the number itself then how the implant balances with your frame and fits your goals.I hope that this is been helpful for you.

Answer: Breasts implants size Dear Lindsmarie, Thanks for submitting your pictures. From your pictures you appear to be a small A cup with level 2 ptosis ( saggyness ). You did not provide your chest circumference measurement, so it is diffucult to give you an opinion about size. Let's assume that you are 34 small A cup. To become a 34 DD you will need implants with a volume of , roughly, 625 cc. By the way, DD is not 'typical', but if that is your goal , it is achievable. Due to your ptosis, I would recommend a mini lift ( donut ) at the same time to give you the optimal attractive result.Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures to make sure that they are numerous , consistent and attractive. Check also the 'realself' reviews for positive patients experience which provides important information on the surgeons. Best of luck, Dr Widder
