Lip incompetence, overjet, what'll be the best course of action? (Photos)

I have quite moderate-severe overjet and lip incompetence, with a weak chin. I explored the option of braces but came to know from my orthodontist that they will require extractions, which I am wary of as I have heard they can ruin faces. I can't close my lips at rest and I have a "chipmunk" like appearance from front with a puffy face. I have put genioplasty on the table as an option but I am not sure if it will fix my problems. What'd be the best course of action for me? 18M
