I recommend scheduling a follow up with your provider to rule out other complications such as infection or blistering, and so your provider can perform interventions as necessary (medications, creams, etc.) to avoid worsening of the condition and/or scarring. Fractora is a fairly aggressive radio-frequency micro-needling device that seems to cause more downtime than other devices available. The claim is that the results are more significant than other devices, but I am not sure if that is the case. Definitely follow up with your Doctor for ongoing care.
Obviously this is not normal. The device is risky in my opinion. The current flows from the needles and then has to return to the skin surface. If the handpiece is not flush with the skin throughout the pulse or if there is fluid or blood on the skin, there is a risk of arcing and burn. I prefer the Infini as a RF microneedling device which is safer. For the burns, please see your provider for care of these wounds.
