Is RF a solution for tear troughs?

The tear trough is the result of a volume deficit so you need to fill it with filler or fat.  

If it is truly the tear trough that needs to be treated due to hollowing and/or bags,you would be better off treating the area with filler to help fill the hollows and lessen the appearance of the the fat herniation. Often times, depending on severity I recommend fat repositioning, where I use the fat pad to fill in the trough and correct the hollowing. This in turn helps soften and smooth the under eyes. RFAL (radio frequency assisted lipolysis) like Facetite or Accutite is great treatment options for problems like festoons. Without photos its hard to advise appropriately but I would recommend getting a consultation for a second opinion. Co2 and RF alone would not be my recommendation for treatment of hallowed tear troughs. Best regards.

I don’t have any pics to see what you are trying to do. RF is mostly used for skin tightening and wrinkles. It is not going to improve volume in the rear trough. Fillers are needed for this. I would seek another opinion for this.
