do rf treatments dicrease the amount of scar tisdue caused by procedures such as microliposuction face or facelift etc. If so which one is better (Exilis, fractora etc).

It's difficult to answer which procedures would be best for you without an in-person evaluation. I usually recommend venus legacy or exilis radiofrequency treatments. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer

There are so many factors to take into consideration when treating scars.  How the scar was caused; the age of the scar; anatomical location; color etc...an in person evaluation is needed.  Having said that, I do a lot of scar treatments and usually more than one modality (and persistence/time) is required to achieve reasonable results.  One of the modalities I use a lot is radiofrequency.  In my hands, The Venus Legacy, Venus Viva and Thermismooth/Thermitight are the ones I think are the most effective at scar improvement.
