Fix droppy nose tip with Botox or depressor septi muscle? (photos)

Question

hi everyone, without going through rhinoplasty, i would like to ask some questions. I have read, cutting depressor septi muscle would lift the tip of the nose upward. Is this true ? And will the results noticeable? Also will the be any sides effect with smile , lips as people always say ? Would using Botox the relax the depressor septi muscle also lift nose tip, how long will the result last and will there be any side effects? . Here are some of my nose photo,

Unfortunately, severing the depressor muscle will not lift the nasal tip. Neither will Botox. In our experience, the best way to rotate a nasal tip is with tip plasty surgery. Thank you for your question. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Microdroplets of Botox at the base of the nose to the sides of the columella can by themselves result in a lift of a droopy nasal tip and so can the use of a bolus of the appropriate filler placed at the base of the columella. The results of the latter are immediate; Botox takes up to a week to work.  Performed together, there is typically a synergistic effect that leads to more durable results that can last for a year or more in my experience. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Some surgeons perform that procedure. It's simple to do but keep your expectations on the modest side. Unfortunately it's one of those hit or miss procedures

Using a small dose of neuromodulator at the base of the nose will result in elevation of the tip of the nose. This should last 3-4 months if proper dosing of the neuromodulator is used. The surgical procedure I feel is too risky.
