Vivace is great for skin tightening. It will decrease your wrinkles and fine lines. It improves skin texture and minimizes the appearance of visible pores. As far as it replacing a neck lift, it really depends on the condition of your neck. If you are experiencing early skin changes and have healthy skin, this is an ideal procedure and you do not need a neck lift. If you have advanced skin aging as a result of your genes, your age, and your habits like sun exposure and or smoking, a noninvasive treatment is not your best option. I recommend meeting with an experienced provider who also offers other treatments like fractional CO2 laser resurfacing and threads as other neck treatment options.Wishing you the best, Dr. Bonakdar
Hello! Nothing can replace an in-person consult to determine the best treatment for your neck and lower face, but for mild to moderate loss of elasticity the Vivace is an excellent choice. It creates new collagen and elastin to firm and tighten tissues. This creates a sharper jawline and smooths out the necklace lines of the neck. However, for patients with extensive sagging and skin excess, minimally invasive in-office procedures will not replace and neck/lower face lift. If I feel that a patient would be better off putting the money they would have spent on office procedures toward surgery then that is what I recommend. I hope this helps! - Dr. Brown
Vivace works very well at tightening the skin and stimulating excellent quality collagen. You usually need 3-4 sessions done once every 3-4 weeks. Vivace does not replace surgery but it is a great non-invasive technology for face and neck rejuvenation.
It can tighten and build elastin and collagen but will not be the same as a face lift. Sometimes threads placed in the cheeks can be a lifestyle lift done in the office which can give you added lift. Often treatments are complimentary such as laser, vivace, threads etc. Or facelift and vivace. The procedures can work together to get better results. Vivace will improve pores, add collagen and elastin over time but will not replace a face lift.
This is a great question. There is no formal guideline for Vivace maintenance treatment mainly because it depends on what you're trying to achieve (or maintain). In my practice, after a series of 3 Vivaces one month apart, I recommend the 4th treatment 3 months later. For...
Hello! The Vivace treatment uses three different modalities to create new collagen, smooth and brighten. Because there is no laser involved, Vivace is considered safe on all skin tones. It has very little risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. If you are concerned about irregular...
Hello! The Vivace delivers powerful RF energy from the tips of the 36 needles, and this energy cauterizes blood vessels while tightening the skin. Therefore there is much less bleeding during a Vivace treatment compared with a traditional microneedle device. Studies have shown that...
