This can occur after Excel V laser treatment for telangiectasias (broken capillaries). It is a small amount of blood leaking into the tissues. Essential a small bruise. It is nothing worrisome. Actually sometimes they can be treated with the Excel V laser as well. They should go away on their own in a week or so.

This frequently occurs with thin skin or when someone is taking a medication that causes the blood to thin. Both of which easily cause bruising. The bruises usually heal within 7-14 days and the results should be great.
Though I’d surely show your treating provider, it looks like you have some bruising in areas. It’ll be fine in a few weeks after they fade. Laser settings for redness in years past were often set with the goal of bruising. Though they take a while to fade, the vessels are destroyed. We don’t really have bruising as a treatment endpoint anymore but you will get a fine result.
