Will an ER take out my implants?Otherwise I have to wait another whole week. (Photos)

A combined mastopexy augmentation brings together two procedures with opposing goals. The mastopexy aims to decrease the skin envelope, while the augmentation aims to increase the skin envelope. The result is often stretching of the skin, widening of incisions and enlargement nipple areolar complex as the implant fights against the breast skin.The results shown illustrates this problem. It appears that too much skin has been removed based on size of the implant used. I would not advise an ER taking out your implants, but I would see your plastic surgeon immediately. They may choose to remove the implants and allow you to heal from the mastopexy. I would also seek an immediate second opinion from another plastic surgeon in the area. It would be prudent to remove your implants at the present time.

Unfortunately you had poorly planned and poorly executed surgery. Combination breast lift and breast augmentation requires finesse, and expertise. See your doctor to remove the implants. I am very sorry to hear/see about your stressful experience after breast augmentation/lifting surgery. Although, without in-person physical examination, it is difficult  to provide you with precise enough advice, one course of action that would be ill advised would be to have your breast implants removed by a non-plastic surgeon. The emergency room is not the environment to do so. Given your situation, you may wish to consider consultation with additional board certified plastic surgeons prior to making any decisions.
