1 year post. Why isn't my chalazion going away?

Hello. I had a chalazion for a year and 2 months now. And I already had 2 surgeries, but the chalazion is not going away. Basically I can't see a very big bump but the eyelid is swollen and red. And sometimes I think that the chalazion exploded in my eyelid during the operation. That scares me. But when I went to doctors they said it should cure by its own....

It sounds like there is still chalazion tissue present that needs to be excised. See an oculoplastic surgeon for evaluation.

The best resource of information would be your board certified plastic surgeon as he/she knows your condition best. It would be difficult to give an accurate assessment without an in person examination. Discuss this concern thoroughly with your surgeon as what you are seeing is most likely already the final result of your surgery.

If your chalazion has been present for so long despite 2 surgeries, it is time to make sure the diagnosis is accurate. Other more serious diseases, including eyelid gland cancer, can look like chalazion. Please confirm that your doctor sent tissue for biopsy from one or both of your previous surgeries. Once cancer is ruled out, treatment options include injection of anti inflammatory and anti scarring medication info the chalazion, repeat surgery, and also oral pills. Please seek consultation with an ASOPRS trained oculoplastic surgeon.

There is the possibility that it may not be a chalazion.  After surgery or rupture there may be scar tissue, swelling or an inclusion cyst.  A Plastic surgeon can perform a physical exam and review the pathology to determine the next steps.
