Thank you Dr Chang for making me look beautiful, awake and afresh every morning. It's so pleasant and bearable looking at the mirror after the surgery. I love the look of my eyes. Also not forgetting Dr Chang's staff member, they are very friendly and easy to work with.
I recently had a chin implant removed by Dr. Chang, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The healing process has been smooth, and the swelling has almost completely gone down. Dr. Chang’s bedside manner was exceptional. I was awake for the procedure and yet felt completely at ease and confident in her expertise throughout the entire procedure. I can highly recommend Dr. Chang to anyone.
Dr. Chang did an excellent on my eye surgery, I couldn't have been more pleased with the results. She is exceptional in the level of care provided throughout the entire process, and is meticulous on her approach to best meet my needs. I very much appreciate her thoroughness in explaining all suitable options, and her understanding and flexibility in the scheduling. I highly recommend Dr. Chang.
I had my upper eyelid ptosis and lower eyelid blepharoplasty done with Dr. Chang early this year. She was the best doctor I have had. She was very knowledgeable and gave me practical suggestions. She explained everything so clearly that I could have a whole picture of the procedure. She was patient and listened to my concerns and answered my questions. The procedure went very well. She did an excellent job! Before and after the procedure, she was very responsive to my questions through text messages. I recovered very fast and I could see my difference everyday. The result was exactly what I wanted!! Dr. Chang will be my go to doctor if I ever have needs for procedures on my face. I am so grateful for her.
Dr. Chang treated botox on my 11s, crows feet, brows and undereye (jelly roll) area. All areas came out sooo good! Especially my jelly roll area....always had em', never thought they'd diminish but now its almost gone and couldn't be happier! Please see doctor Chang for all your botox needs, she has a good eye to detail and is a master at her craft!
Dr. Chang is the best! I definitely needed an eye and brow lift and saw two other plastic surgeons before meeting Dr. Chang. She immediately calmed my fears about the surgery by answering every question I had. And never having had surgery, I had lots of questions! I also did not feel pressured to make the decision to do so; Dr. Chang told me that she understood how big a decision to have surgery can be and told me to take my time thinking about it. I decided to have the procedures done and couldn’t be happier about the outcome! I have spoken with friends who have had the same procedures and learned that Dr. Chang goes “above and beyond” what is usually expected. For example, none of the surgeons my friends went to washed their hair immediately after the surgery before they awoke. She even put conditioner in mine to keep it from getting too tangled under the head wrap! Dr. Chang also made a follow-up call to me the afternoon of the surgery just to check in. And the next evening I texted her with a question and she responded right away, even though it was after-hours. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone wanting these or other procedures she offers should make an appointment for a consultation. There is a $100 fee, but that is deducted from the cost of the surgery and Dr. Chang spends as much time as you need explaining the surgery, aftercare, risks and outcomes. Well worth the fee, whether you decide to have the surgery or not.
I had upper eyelid filler done with Dr Chang and she exceeded my expectations. She took her time with explaining each step and made me feel at ease. She’s a true artist, perfectionist and master at what she does! 10/10
As an individual with highest myopia, I seek out exceptional medical care within the Puget Sound region. Dr. Chang demonstrated that level of care. Her dedication to communicate the differences between Ptosis and Blepharoplasty was key to my understanding that neither was congruent wih my already Dry Eye condition. Not only did she articulate the techniques, she showed me as I looked into the mirror. Dr. Chang is well schooled having received her Medical Degree from Johns Hopkins, attained several fellowships, and awards. She teaches at the UW, and possesses a polished easy poise. Her office staff, Maija and William, round out the welcoming atmosphere. Dr. Chang is what I need in exceptional medical care.
I couldn't be more thrilled with the exceptional service and results I received from Dr. Chang. From the moment I walked in, I was met with professionalism and warmth from Dr. Chang and the entire team. Dr. Chang's expertise and attention to detail were evident throughout the process, and I felt fully supported and informed every step of the way. Not only did the double eyelid surgery exceed my expectations, but the recovery process was smooth, thanks to Dr. Chang's guidance and care. I've received countless compliments from friends who have noticed the natural and beautiful outcome. I highly recommend Dr. Chang to anyone considering cosmetic procedures. Thank you for your exceptional work and dedication to your patients' satisfaction!
I had revision upper (asian) blepharoplasty and eyelid retraction surgery. I first had eyelid surgery in 2016 with a very well-known doctor in Beverly Hills and was not happy with the outcome. My upper lid began drooping over my eye shortly after the surgery and I had a harsh appearance. Dr. Chang was very thorough and walked me through all of my options. My result is very natural (important to me), and I now have a visible eyelid platform and a much softer look. The shape compliments the rest of my face very well. This was a complicated surgery because of the revision and retraction issues I had and I'm so grateful that I was in such good hands. Without question Dr. Chang has the skill and expertise to provide a successful procedure, but she also has that X factor in being able to see what will compliment a person's overall appearance, and that is hard to find. If you're considering eye surgery you should go to the best and you can find that in Dr. Chang. As a bonus, Dr. Chang is very kind and easy to talk to. She responds quickly to any questions and her staff are also lovely and and professional.
If you do not want to have fillers & neurotoxin, lower eyelid fat transposition blepharoplasty can help with the contours and "tired" appearance. Surgery won't, however, help with the lines around the eye area. Perhaps a consultation with an oculoplastic surgeon who is well-versed in the use of nonsurgical as well as surgical modalities can help assuage some of your concerns regarding fillers & neurotoxins?
Hello. Cheek implants will help to augment the cheek and hide the lower eyelid "bags." I often do lower eyelid fat transposition blepharoplasty in conjunction with cheek implants to achieve maximum improvement, but it's fine to do it in stages if that's what you and your surgeon are planning. Fat/filler injections will only give you a mild improvement.
Hello. The photo shows hollowing and dark circles under the eyes, but I can't see the veins you're referring to. Typically, lower eyelid veins are located at the outer corners and can be treated with laser, surgery, or injections to collapse the veins. If the problem is actually the dark circles under the eyes, this can be improved with fillers. Skin grafting is not a good option if you're seeking to improve your appearance. Skin grafts in this area will never blend entirely to look like your natural skin, you'll always see the "seams", and will definitely worsen your cosmesis compared to the other options discussed.
I agree with some of the other doctors that an examination is needed to see whether the filler contributes to the contour irregularities. But since you also have more "crows feet" lines on the R side when you smile, I do think that at least a part of the issue is due to dynamic muscle movements. The most definitive treatment would be dissolution of the filler material followed by transconjunctival lower eyelid fat transposition blepharoplasty. You will likely still want to have neurotoxin injections after surgery to enhance the symmetry with smile. But if you're seeking partial improvement, non-surgical treatments alone may be sufficient to give you what you're looking for.
Hello. While I agree that you need to have ptosis surgery on the left upper eyelid, I don't think you should have further blepharoplasty surgery. The tarsal platform show on the left side is already elongated and ptosis surgery should make it symmetric with the right side. If you have additional blepharoplasty (skin removal), the tarsal platform show asymmetry may persist. Examination with an oculoplastic surgeon will reveal whether you are a candidate for posterior approach ptosis surgery which does not create a skin incision.
