Are there any differences between upright regrowing hairs & miniaturized ones in trichogram?

In trichoscopy (or trichogram) for early androgenetic alopecia (AGA), there are distinct differences between upright regrowing hairs and miniaturized hairs:
Regrowing Hairs: These appear thicker and healthier with a normal diameter. They are often uniform and darker in color, indicating that the follicles are in the active anagen (growth) phase.
Miniaturized Hairs: These hairs are thinner, have a reduced diameter, and often appear shorter. Miniaturization is a hallmark of AGA, where hair follicles progressively shrink due to DHT sensitivity, producing weaker and finer hair over time.
Trichoscopy can help differentiate these types and assess the progression of AGA. Regrowing hairs signal recovery or the effects of treatment, while miniaturized hairs indicate ongoing hair follicle shrinkage.
