I have been recently diagnosed with very early AGA and TE. I am a 24 years old male who has been shedding more than usual since March. On January I had pneumonia with high fever and then just after shedding begun a severe seborrheic dermatitis flare up (I have been dealing with untreated DS for so many years). Does SD gives instant shedding or there is a period of aprox. 3 months delay corrresponding to the telogen phase? - Could poorly managed SD over years lead to miniaturization? My hair is falling from all over the scalp with the same intensity. I am losing a lot of hair with sebum attached to it in the middle of the strand? It is not the typical dandruff flake. Could it be the remains of the seborrheic dermatitis?
Seborrheic dermatitis and AGA. I have been recently diagnosed with very early AGA and TE. I am a 24 years old male who has been shedding more than usual for the past few months. Do changes in normal hair cycles resulting in telogen effluvium precede miniaturization as the very first stage of AGA? I also had a severe seborrheic dermatitis flare-up just before shedding started. May increased dht production lead to flare-ups of SD, taking into account that dht activates the sebaceous gland? Is there a link between SD and AGA? Is there any relationship between acne and AGA?

Hi, I'm 28 years old female. I have hair loss and acne in my early 20's and lost most of my hair and eyebrows till now. I have sebhoric dermatitis which is yellowish and smelly. All my blood test are normal. Used minoxidal and PRP. No effect. Do I have hair loss due to sebhorea and if so what should be the treatment. Also what are the chances for recovery?
Im 45 and Ive been taking Finasteride for 20 months now and I cant see any improvement, if anything my hair looks worse. I also have Seborrheic Dermatitis that I cant completely get rid of. Ive had a few mild side effects and would like to know if I can just stop taking it....Regards
I started taking Finasteride on October 11, 2017 and I have been taking it ever since. As of March 2019, I have noticed my hair thinning in the scalp as well as the front. How is this possible. I would greatly appreciate a response as well as any feedback or suggestions. Attached below is images of my hair that I took on October 10, 2017 as well as images on March 2019. In addition, I have images that I now got a buzz cut due to seborrheic dermatitis.
I began taking finasteride on October 17, 2017. Since I have been on the pill, my hair has been oily and I get a lot of dandruff in my hair (seborrheic dermatitis). I never suffered from any of these before I was on the pill. Could the drug be the problem?
I'm 24 years old and I had never noticed hairs on my pillow or while in the shower. I have Seborrheic Dermatitis since 6 months ago, and in the first months I stopped washing my hair regulary because I though it was some kind of dryness (Big mistake). After two months of not washing my hair reguraly one day I started finding from 6 to 8 hairs on my pillow and from 15 to 25 when showering all of them with a small white bulb. And, when I rub my fingers through my hair falls 1 to 2 hairs each time.
There's no history of AGA in my family, my father's 55 years old and has a head full of hair. I have my mother's hair and my grandpa died at the age of 94 with his head full of hair. I have a mild Seborrheic Dermatitis since 6 months ago. I went no poo and brushed my hair 100-200 times per day. I was so stressed and nervous about that awkward thing. After two months, one day I suddenly started finding 6-8 hairs on my pillow and from 15-25 when showering, every hair with a small white bulb.
I have all these white tiny rice grains coming out of my eyebrow pores. These things are stuck to all the hairs and they fall out and don't grow back. I lose 10-20 brows a day. The doctors say it's seb derm but I have tried all the antifungals and steroids to no avail. These things will not stop growing out of the pores. I also have a hair shedding disorder which started a yr previous to this but was only shedding a few brow hairs a day. My scalp biopsy said no scarring or inflammation.
