Seborrheic dermatitis and AGA. I have been recently diagnosed with very early AGA and TE. I am a 24 years old male who has been shedding more than usual for the past few months. Do changes in normal hair cycles resulting in telogen effluvium precede miniaturization as the very first stage of AGA? I also had a severe seborrheic dermatitis flare-up just before shedding started. May increased dht production lead to flare-ups of SD, taking into account that dht activates the sebaceous gland? Is there a link between SD and AGA? Is there any relationship between acne and AGA?
