Question

I had rhinoplasty and the case was on for 9 days. the doctor did not touch the bone will my final results look like the first time i saw my nose after the cast removal ? the doctor when he saw me after the cast removal he told me that i barely have swelling

Dear Ali-ref, It is common for your nose to swell after splint removal and to have some swelling present at the time of the splint removal. With that said, you can have a good idea of what your nose will look like when the splint is removed. As the swelling dissipates over the first few months you will begin to see your results and it will take a full year for all of the swelling to dissipate. The reveal videos that I share on my profile are taken at seven days post surgery on the splint removal day. While the patients have varying degrees of swelling they all have a good idea of their results and they just get better over the coming months. In the video above the patients immediate after photographs are attached and then her photos from one year later which will give you an idea of the changes that present. Best regards, Michael V.
