Question

I don't know when I developed these large fleshy bumps on the left! They feel like "me" but it used to be smooth and pink a year ago. What could these unusual large bumps be? They do not hurt, are not inflamed, and I only just noticed them after taking a video of myself upclose. I am 30 years old, healthy and not sexually active. It appears that my urethra also has some type of growth which I tried to zoom in on. Is this cancer? Can I Laser it away?

You are seeing a combination of hymenal remnants and possibly condylomata or papilloma.

In layman’s terms, the larger pieces are part of your previously torn hymen (totally normal after tampon use or Intercourse). The smaller bumps could be from a virus that causes tissue growth in the area. Or they could be “skin tags”, which can be caused by hormonal changes and friction.

Two recommendations:
1. See your OB/Gyn to make sure your vaginal health screening is up to date. They can do necessary testing and ensure you aren’t at risk for future growth or even cancer. 
2. If all checks out, and it’s cosmetic improvement that you seek, then a combination of surgical resection and/or CO2 laser would resolve your concerns.

This is vestibular papillomatosis and is very common. You should not laser this, it is a normal variant. Most male partners really won't notice this. It is more noticeable in the photo because of the way you are spreading your labia. Your urethra looks normal.

Hello, you need to have a detailed gynecological examination for newly appearing swellings. HPV virus test and perhaps biopsy may be performed. Afterwards, treatment with cauterization or laser is possible. Have a good day

The changes you're noticing could be due to a number of reasons. It might be a benign condition such as a cyst, skin tag, or a condition known as vulvar vestibulitis. It could also be due to hormonal changes or the result of an infection.

However, it's crucial that you get a proper diagnosis from a healthcare professional, preferably a gynecologist, who can examine you and provide accurate information. While it's unlikely to be cancer given your age and health status, only a healthcare professional can rule that out.

With regards to laser treatment, it can be used for some conditions affecting the vagina, but it would entirely depend on the diagnosis. Laser procedures should only be done under the advice and supervision of a healthcare professional.
