Hi, I've been a 32I for almost two years now. My right breast is a cup size bigger than the left which makes bras difficult. I constantly have back pain and pain by my collar bones. I am a dancer so having big breasts makes dancing harder as well as just life in general. I constantly have older boys and men looking at me also.
Answer: My name is Maleeah. I'm 14 with size 32I breasts. Can I get a reduction? I'm sorry to hear about the physical problems your disproportionately large breasts are causing you. It is probable that you are dealing with juvenile breast hypertrophy. You are wise in achieving your long-term stable weight prior to proceeding with breast reduction surgery. In my practice, timing of breast reduction surgery is determined on a case-by-case basis. It is not too early to do your homework and learn as much as possible about breast reduction surgery and the potential risks and complications associated with the procedure. I hope that you have the support of your parents as you do your homework. It will be important that you learn about the potential risks/complications associated with breast reduction surgery. Unsatisfactory scarring is one of the potential complications. Make sure you also understands that further surgery may be necessary in the future (for example if the breasts were to grow in size again). On the other hand, breast reduction surgery is one of the most patient pleasing operations we perform and I think that for the right teenager (enough symptoms) it may be an excellent option (regardless of the age). Online consultants will not be able to predict exactly what bra size you will end up wearing; it will be important for you to communicate your goals carefully (be careful of communicating goals in terms of cup sizes) prior to proceeding with the breast surgery. In my practice, I find the use of goal photographs and computer imaging very helpful during the communication process. I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to juvenile breast reduction surgery concerns), helps. Best wishes.

Answer: My name is Maleeah. I'm 14 with size 32I breasts. Can I get a reduction? Thank you for question, and I am sorry that your breasts have limited you so much recently. You may be suffering from juvenile breast hypertrophy, a condition where your breast tissue is sensitive to your hormonal levels which can lead to rapid and substantial breast growth. I would recommend you and your parents visit a board certified plastic surgeon for an in-person evaluation. After a frank discussion of the benefits and risks of a breast reduction, all parties can come up with the best decision for you.

Answer: No need to suffer. Breast reduction surgery is one of the most satisfying procedures that plastic surgeons perform and that our patients experience. By searching out a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who is also a member of the Utah Plastic Surgery Society you'll be able to go in and receive the best advice possible for your situation.Depending on the surgeon you see, he or she may advise waiting until your growth spurt has completed (you'll know when your shoe size stops changing). Nonetheless, when the timing is right and you have found the ideal match in a plastic surgeon, you should expect to have a much easier time finding clothing that fits, have a much easier time dancing and performing other physical activities, and you should have significant improvement in your musculoskeletal symptoms. There is is no time like the present to go in for an evaluation. Look for a surgeon in your area by looking at the attached link. Best of luck.

Answer: Breast reduction at 14 years old Hi Maleeah,Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear that your large breasts have become both physically and emotionally challenging. You are not alone. There are many teenagers suffering from a similar circumstance. There is no specific age that is appropriate for surgery. At 14 years old you will need to have your parents consent for the procedure. The most important thing to do is to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who can help guide you through this process and determine if you are a good candidate for surgery. Wishing you the best of luck.
