I am 3 weeks post op TT. I'm wanting to know if the skin bunching close to my incision line is normal. Also, what can I do to lessen my scars redness as well as keep it flat. I purchased embrace scar therapy but it has eaten away at my skin and is to painful to continue. Thank you in advance for your time and response.

Hello, it would take a really big effort to do some harm to the wall plication, nevertheless you should have a physical evaluation by your surgeon who will be able to tell if damage was done.

I highly suggest meeting with your surgeon for an in-person examination. It is unlikely that your slip did any damage, however you should get checked out just to make sure. Best regards.

Hello, be sure to discuss any medications you are considering taking with your plastic surgeon and family physician.  Water pills can affect your overall hydration and the levels of important electrolytes in your blood.   They should only be taken as prescribed.
