Im 38 years old and 6 weeks ago i had a mini tummy tuck without muscle repair and lipo on the entire abdominal area. U have this pouch thing going on starting from my scar all the way past my belly..i feel some hard lumps in some areas but over all the upper part above my belly is soft unlike the bottom feels tight still...my doc says these lumps will go away on their own. is what u c in the pics fat or swelling that will resolve soon? Im worried that this will b similar to my end results. Thanx

I encourage you to speak to your surgeon's office about this. They should inform you of the steps to take to care for the drainage tubes until you can be seen. It's important to manage the drainage tubes as instructed in order to minimize risk of infection.
Generally your primary care physician could remove the drains, but you mentioned she's not comfortable doing so. You may need to contact another board certified plastic surgeon in your area for removal but be aware there will typically be a charge for this service.
This question is best answered by your surgeon as opinions vary for wound care. In addition your surgeon is most familiar with the details of your surgery and how you've been progressing through recovery. If the incision heals well dressing changes are only needed for a short time.
