CoolSculpting will not reduce visceral fat. This fat is under the abdominal muscles within the abdominal cavity and would not be drawn into the CoolSculpting applicator. CoolSculpting can be used to reduce superficial fat, which is just below the surface of the skin and above the abdominal muscles. Exercise and diet can help to reduce visceral fat.
Thank you for your question. Coolsculpting does not work on visceral fat. Exercise and healthy eating will help with visceral fat. I hope this helps!
CoolSculpting does not reduce the appearance or quantity of visceral fat present. It only works on fat that can be easily "grabbed" when the skin and underlying tissue is pinched
CoolSculpting will not address visceral fat whichis fat around the organs, below the muscle. Diet and exercise will help address this type of fat. CoolSculpting will address “pinchable” orsuperficial fat which is just below the skin.
Weightlessthrough diet and exercise is the only way to significantly reduce your visceralfat – the layer of fat underneath your abdominal muscles and surrounding yourorgans. Coolsculpting only treats subcutaneous fat – the fat that lies beneathyour skin on top of your abdominal muscles. Hope that helps!
Coolsculpting does not go deep enough to treat visceral fat andwill NOT help that area at all.
Dear saffron:Fat is primarily stored in 2 areas of the body, around the organs called visceral fat and under the skin called superficial or subcutaneous fat.The applicators of the CoolSculpting (CS) machine have cooling temperature plates which must be in contact with the skin to properly cool the fat down to the "working" temperature. If this does not occur, the effect is minimal if any fat loss to that localized bulge.Visceral fat is too deep for the cooling plates to "cool" the fat. This fat must be lost currently with weight loss using lifestyle changes of exercise and diet.Should you lose subcutaneous fat with CS or any other option, remember that fat re-accumulation will occur in other areas of fat cells including around the organs or other superficial body areas (breast, booty, waist, arms, legs, etc) if you do not maintain your new "fat-lost" weight. In essence, you must still consider a weight loss, then a weight maintenance regimen even with CS. CS simply focuses where the fat loss will occur and provide a improved body contour in that area. This is why patients choose the CS "Treatment to Transformation" protocols to contour their bodies. Visceral is the fat surrounding organs and causing health risks. It can be linked to diabetes and heart disease. It can only be removed through diet and exercise. However, it also disappears twice as fast as subcutaneous fat through diet and exercise.Subcutaneous fat lies below the skin and acts as padding and as an energy reserve. CoolSculpting will only work on the subcutaneous fat right underneath the skin. It is unable to reach the internal visceral fat to make a difference on it.
No, we cannot treat visceral, or core fat, with CoolSculpting, nor any other plastic surgery procedure for that matter–not liposuction nor tummy-tuck surgery. If you're wondering if it's visceral or superficial fat that's bothering you, a general guideline is, if you can't grab it and it feels hard, it's probably visceral.
