How long do I need to wait to have hydrafacials after isotretinoin?

Question

Quit isotretinoin after 10 days. I have mild acne and was only using isotretinoin for 10 days before I decided I wanted a less invasive approach to clear my skin. How long do I need to wait before I can start having facials again? Do I still need to wait 6 months? I was taking a low dose of 1-10mg pill a day for 10 days. I am also considering eyebrow microblading, what is the recommended time frame for this as well?Thanks

Thank you for your question. With such a low dose of Accutane for 10 days, the side effects of skin sensitivity would be minimal, so in my opinion, you do not need to wait to restart facials. With that being said, to be on the safer side, you can wait 4 weeks after stopping Accutane to restart any procedures. I highly recommend you consult with your dermatologist regarding any further questions or concerns. Take care and good luck.

With only taking the medication for 10 days you can do anything you want. You didn't take enough to do a darn thing or effect anything, so feel free to proceed with hydrafacials or whatever else you'd like to do.
