If your result is spectacular, then your plastic surgeon is a genius. If it is less than brilliant, then does that make him mediocre? I think you need to do your homework, see only ABPS certified doctors and find the right fit. One of my mentors used to say that perfect is the enemy of good and the same can be sad about doctor selection. If someone claims to be th best, is that ego, skill or hype?

I think that each plastic surgeon takes pride in his/her work so it is difficult to say anyone person is the best.  For you, you should start your search at the ASPS or ASAPS websites and find someone whose work you like.
