Revision Tummy Tuck-Dog Ear, How long to fix again? (photo)

The dog ear may be due to excess fat that will require a small liposuction procedure performed under tumescent anesthesia.  This will help the puffiness of the area. 

 I would wait at least three months. It might be possible to do it right away but your surgeon will need to make that call.

Thank you for the photos.  I would wait at least 3 months to see if the contour will improve via the healing process.  If it does not at 3 months then a second revision can be considered.

You can proceed when you feel no more swelling. Varies 1 -3 months. Sometimes a bit of suctioning in the area above it and at the end may make the final result a bit better.. The lower incisions have increased the number of "dog ear" revisions compared to when the higher lateral (French Cut) incisions were used.

Wait at least 2 months best 3 months. Make sure the next time a longer and wider excision is done. Good luck

I would generally wait about 4 - 6 months before you consider a revision of your dog ear problem.  You will need time for the soft tissues to relax.  

The swelling and stiffness seen after surgery need to resolve completely first, and then reevaluate the area. If there is still a dogear it can be revised then. It would be quite unusual to need the procedure twice.
