3 weeks post op ethmoid sinus surgery, very bad smell coming from right nostril. What should I do?

i went to my surgeon office and he placed a camera in my nose and he said there is no sign of infection but some crusting has formed that causes bad odor and i have to rinse with salin/water solution at least 3 4 times per day.but after 5 days the problem persists.what should i do now?
