I know blepharoplasty removes the fat/skin above the natural eyelid. But if the upper eyelid is naturally small (thin), is there any way to increase its size? Not to unnatural-looking extent, just to make more substantial than it would normally be, to make eyes look bigger? If not, is there any other way to make eyes look bigger? I used to have quite large eyes, but they seem to be shrinking as I age. Thanks.
Answer: Can you make eyes look bigger Blepharoplasty or brow lift typically can make the eyes look more open which many people call bigger. If your eyelids have excess skin folds pushing the eyelid down, or if your eyebrow has dropped pushing the eyelid tissue down then a blepharoplasty in the first case or a brow lift in the second case can make your eyes look more open and more youthful. Please consult a plastic surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, very specifically experienced in eyelid surgery, and who has an excellent reputation in your community.

Answer: How to make eyes look bigger Dear Curious-You are seeing the unfortunate effect of age and gravity-but instead of increasing your lids, we need to move your brows up to where they used to be. As you age, your forehead and brows drop, making the distance between your brows and eyes seem to shrink. When you are looking directly into a mirror, place the flat of your hand above your eyebrows and move your forehead skin gently up. If that helps the look of your eyelid area, you would probably be helped by a browlift. A browlift can be done several ways, but I prefer a lateral browlift which gives you quite a bit of lift without the full ear to ear incision of a coronal browlift. If you also have some extra skin or fat of the upper lids, we can take care of that at the same time. Drooping skin of the lids can also make your eyes look smaller

Answer: How to Make Your Eyes Look Larger? The eyes may look smaller if the upper eyelid skin is hanging or excessive. An upper blepharoplasty may be your answer but pictures or an examination would be necessary. Sometimes botox or a neurotoxin can raise the eyebrow to remove some of the excess upper eyelid skin. If the brow is too low, a browlift may be necessary. The cost of an upper eyelid blepharoplasty is $4100 including the board certified professional fee, board certified anesthesia fee, and medicare approved surgicenter. Hope this helps!

Answer: Is it possible to make upper eyelids larger? Hello and thanks for your question. If your eyes were large before, I assume they are still the same size, and it is the overlying soft tissue, which are sagging with ageing, that is causing the problem. If that is the case, then it is a matter of working out which procedure is most appropriate for you.It may be neurotoxins, giving a slight lift on the outer corners that is enough, or, if this is insufficient on its own for you, then blepharoplasty(eyelid tuck) and/or forehead lift, may be the way to go, to achieve the look you want.A consultation face-to-face is, in my opinion, a definite. This gives your Plastic surgeon a chance to accurately assess what factors are at play in the tissues of your face(and there are usually a number of factors working together), and then, he can discuss with you your options that are appropriate for treating your concerns. It is also gives you the opportunity to meet your Plastic Surgeon, and hear from a Specialist, your options for treatment. You get to form a relationship, essential, I believe. Then you are equipped to make decisions about what treatments are the best for youI wish you well in your journey.
