Is Scarring That Extends From the Infra-gluteal Crease worth it?

Although it is not clear why buttock implants are not an option, a lower buttock tuck scar can be positioned strategically such that it only shows when you are bent over. You may have to travel a little ways to get a second opinion on this.  Glad to help...

Judging by your photograph I think one should be able to harvest adequate amount of fat from your abdomen, flanks , upper and lower back in order to graft to your prominent infra gluteal fold.

I do not recommend a large scar directly in the infra gluteal fold. If a buttock lift is desired then a formal buttock lift through an incision above the buttock is recommended. This would also allow a vascularized fat "autograft" which would lead to better contour and projection of your new buttock !

                     You need a creative approach to avoid lengthy scars.  Liposuction of the appropriate areas with fat transfer to the buttocks to take up loose skin will give the best improvement.  I perform about 500 Brazilian buttlifts each year, and this procedure is the most surgeon dependent plastic surgery procedure.  Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of Brazilian buttlifts each year.  Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results.

Hi Anna_banana. I don't think you need a scar past where your crease stops now. I believe that suctioning of your lower back, flanks and abdomen will give you enough fat to do a small Brazilian butt lift. The crease lift may or may not, then have to be done.
