How many units of hyaluronidase should be used to dissolve 1 ml of Restylane in lips?

Question

Upper lip has a line where the filler was started to be injected into vermillion border. Tried adding more to corners of mouth but still did not pop the line. Right side more prominent than left. Have been doing lips and do have some lumps. Should I try and just dissolve corners or whole lip and start over?

Great Question! 
There is a LOT of variation in fillers so there isn't a set "dose" that works for each type. In the literature, the easiest fillers to dissolve are Boletero and Voluma being the most difficult to dissolve. Because of the differences in fillers, the range for dose is between 5 and 20 U for 0.1 mL of filler.  For Restylane, 5 Units should work well. Retreatment can occur as soon as 48 hours, but if you don't want to dissolve all of it, I would wait at least a week for complete resolution.
