Yesterday I had my lips injected with hyaloronic acid, and I hate them. They look uneven and duck like. I could cry for what I did to my face. I know it may look worse because of the swelling but I can’t live with these lips for 2 weeks to wait for the swelling to disappear. How soon can Hyaluronidase be used?
Answer: Immediate removal is best with Hylenex Longterm filler problems include migration, edema, and nodularity. Filler migration and permanence is a very common problem because there are many different types of HA fillers on the market and each is specified for a specific part of the face. Use of highly cohesive fillers on thin skin may cause swelling and nodularity. If patients have filler migration or nodules, we recommend a combination approach of filler reversal with enzymes Hylenex and Hyaluronidase in different strengths to dissolve the filler. We may also need to add Kenalog to the mix in order to reduce fibrous tissue. If the filler does not dissolve, it either means the filler is not HA material or we need more enzyme. The HA reversal can be combined with other lasers and skin treatments at the same time, and it usually (usually) does not affect adjacent tissue. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: How soon can I remove lip filler? You can get the filler dissolved anytime, however I would wait till the swelling goes down. Wait two weeks before getting it dissolved.

Answer: Hate my lips Thankyou for your question. You will be further swollen if you have hyaluronidase injected now. Start icing the area and continue to do so son and off for the next few days and see how you go. Lips always are asymmetrical when they swell. Good luck

Answer: How soon can Hyaluronidase be used? Hyaluronidase can be used right away; however I would encourage you to be patient. Lips swell. Immediately after injection, the shape is a good indicator of what your result will be in s couple weeks, but even then they have begun to swell. I’ve even had some first-time lip filler patients who were concerned the day after about the size of their lips come back in for more filler once swelling went down. Not all injections are perfect and sometimes Hyaluronidase is needed but my advice to you this early on is to wait it out a week or 2 and if still unhappy go back to your Dr

Answer: Post Lip Filler Swelling There is a certain amount of swelling and bruising in the photos. It is possible that in the next couple of weeks the swelling will go down and you may like the shape and volume of the lips. In any event there is no time frame that you have to wait to dissolve filler. You can have it done as soon as you would like; however, it may be worth while to hold tight for a few days to see how things improve. All the best.
