Terino Square Style 2, Medium. Advice needed (Photo)

Question

Hello. Chinplant booked for 08.05. So excited. Surgeon and I agreed on Terino Square Style 2 medium as my chin isn't that weak. He measured my chin which is currently 5.5cm across and 3.5cm up the sdde. As this implant only gives 5mm projection, will this be noticeable? Some implant photos online, which offer 5mm projection, show barely any change. Chin was done with 2ml of filler last July. Thanks for the advice

In my opinion, the photo of your current chin looks better to me than your desired result.  In the photo with the desired result, your chin appears a bit over projected to me.  I understand you had a filler placed in July last year, and so that may still be providing some augmentation to you.  I think the medium implant you decided on will be fine, but if you are looking to over project your chin, you may want to use an implant with more projection.

You are wise to consider the possibility of over-correction and try to avoid it.Evaluation of the plan for change can be done relatively well with computer imaging in 3D and simulation, and it allows you to measure the changes corresponding to the shape that you feel comfortable with. This helps the surgeon to determine what implants to use.If you already have injectable filler treatment, ideally the filler should be dissolved before making this evaluation.You have to also bear in mind that there are always differences between computer simulations and results, even though the correlation tends to stand relatively well.
