9months post op, 400cc round moderate profile, under the muscle. First month or so post op they were perfect in the perfect position too. Since then they have just gradually began to fall into my armpits. At times it’s really uncomfortable
Answer: Implants Yes, you have some lateral displacement which can be fixed by tightening your lateral pockets. I would still keep your implants behind the muscle to avoid looking like balls on your chest.

Answer: It is a case of lateral displacement. Thank you for your question. Yes, it is a case of lateral displacement. Since not much time passed from your first surgery, there is a chance to repair it, without revision. You must use bra whole day, and also when sleeping to close lateral pocket and don’t let it to widen ever more. If you, do it for couple of months and the effect is not satisfactory, then I would consider getting revision surgery.

Answer: 9 months post-op - My implants began to fall into my armpits. Do I need a revision? Is this lateral displacement? Hello @Bella_2022 thank you for your question y showing your pictures. It is important that you know what type of location was given by your surgeon to the implants you currently have so you will also know what to expect with respect to changes in the shape of the implants. The current solution in my opinion would be surgical to place them behind the muscle fascia in order to preserve the shape long term. I link a video about prosthesis location to send some more light. For more information and recommendations is best to consult with one or several board certified plastic surgeons. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.

Answer: Lateral breast implant displacement It's unfortunate, but your implants have displaced very lateral. A revision procedure with plication (suturing) of the lateral capsule should help bring them more medial. You may require a bolster (human or pig skin) to help support the tissue and resist reoccurrence. Dr. Taranow
