I had laser hair removal 2 days ago on my face. How long before i can shave it? I have sizzled hair all on my chin and neck

You should wait at least 48 hours after laser hair removal before you shave because skin around the treated area is usually slightly red and swollen which may feel like a mild sun burn. Give the skin the 48 hours to calm down.. Use a soothing gel such as Aloe vera to help calm the skin. Do not wax, thread, or tweeze the area at any time.. Avoid heat for the first 24 to 48 hours because it can cause irritation. Especially if your skin is sensitive. Avoid excessive sun exposure 3 to 4 weeks due to the fact your skin is at greater risk for hyperpigmentation or burning.. Skin that is regularly exposed like face /arms/neck be sure to use an SPF of about 30 or above to protect the treated area. Avoid any harsh chemicals for the first 24 to 48 hours which means no bleach, or perfumed products. Avoid swimming in chlorinated water for about 48 to 72 hours. Avoid exfoliating. Typically skin goes through a process within the first week which can be frustrating but will eventually calm down.. If you are not comfortable and feel your skin is not healing properly seek the consultation of your attending provider.

Perhaps you should visit the physician who has been overseeing your treatment.  In my experience, bumps after laser hair removal are transient, lasting minutes to hours rather than days. He or she can treat whatever is causing this reaction.  The frizzed hairs usually fall out in a day or so, and if they persist and there us no skin rash, a gentle waxing or pore stripping tape can take them out for you.
