Does one laser treatment permanently remove hair?

It would be really helpful to know which laser was used to zap your scalp, but unless there’s scar tissue there (skin, not emotional), the hair should grow back nicely in the area without further treatment. One of the education points we commonly make to laser hair removal patients is that laser treatment has an additive effect and one treatment will not remove hair permanently. In that instance, it’s a limitation of the treatment, but in your case, this point should be reassuring. Should grow back in 4-6 months with the next anagen hair cycle. Minoxidil may help a bit, but it’s still gonna take time.
