What I suggest is seeing an Orthognathic surgeon immediately and not wait until ortho is done. There may be a different set up in teeth that the surgeon requires.

If you are not happy with the jaw surgery results you should contact your surgeon and let them know. If still unacceptable maybe another opinion would be beneficial.  The upper jaw is placed to the right. I am not sure this was because of the lower teeth dictating the position or what. Perhaps ...

You should consult with a surgeon and get their opinion. Sometimes it is possible to reverse or change the planning to give better aesthetics.

I believe you have what is called maxillary excess. Your upper jaw has grown downward and show too much gum. Yes. The jaw surgery is the only solution. I'm glad you did not take teeth out.
