Do I have polly beak deformity? 11 months post-op. (photos)

Question

I am 11 months post-op from my first rhinoplasty. The area that concerns me is the area above my tip, which is convex as opposed to straight or slightly concave. If I do have pollybeak deformity, when would be a good time to have a revision rhinoplasty? Many thanks in advance for your responses.

You have a little fullness in your supratip, but not a pollybeak deformity. Your surgeon could try triamcinolone injection to see if edema would resolve. Otherwise wait a full year before revision. Dr Julian Rowe-Jones and Dr Charles East are excellent rhinoplasty surgeons in London area that I would recommend.

Thanks for your post and photos. You do not appear to have a true polly beak deformity, although I can appreciate your concerns regarding the supra-tip region of your nasal bridge as being too full. A minor revision may offer you additional enhancements. At 11 months, you can begin to plan for a possible revision now. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon or consider a consultation with additional revision rhinoplasty specialist for the best recommendations. Best Wishes.

You do not have a true polly beak but their is some fullness just above the tip. Tip projection does appear good. Slight reduction of your profile would be beneficial.
