I have this black/purple pump/mole. Will it continue to grow? (photos)

I have a bump that appeared out of no where on my back, it started small and it looked kind of like a black head so I picked and pinched. This caused it to bleed for several hours. It came back larger in diameter and thicker, it also appears to be smudging under the skin. I know I need to have it looked at but I'm wondering whether it's serious. & hoping someone has seen this before and can give a helpful response.

I think the photo looks like an irritated seborrheic keratosis (age spot). This is benign.  However, you need to get it checked out by a dermatologist because melanomas can present in this way.

You are likely cleaning it well with the peroxide but it might be a good idea to get a topical antibiotic to treat the infection and maybe swab to see if any bacteria is growing on it. If it is persistent or you are worried, set up a follow up appointment with your dermatologist.
