I have a consultation booked and 100% want liposuction, I have maintained a stable weight for several years now but have stubborn fat on my stomach/flanks. I am healthy and have no medical issues. However, after reading some patients reviews, some people have said that they started having thyroid problems after liposuction. I am not sure how lipo could cause this so wanted to know is it possible? Are there any long term effects of having liposuction that anyone considering should be aware of?

From board-certified doctors and trusted medical professionals
You can consider Coolscupting or Vanquish. These technologies are non-surgical methods for fat reduction. Liposuction also works extremely well in this area. See a board certified plastic surgeon.Best wishes, Dr. ALDO
It's extremely unlikely you were damaged in any way. You should see your regular doctor for a full evaluation and some piece of mind.
Good luck, Dr. ALDO :)
As your liposuction was just
one week ago, your body is still early in the recovery process. Normally, it’ll
take between 6 and 9 months to see your final results, including your skin
conforming to your new contours. This takes time – your skin won’t spring back
into shape in just a few days....
