Local anesthesia is used for most filler injections and so your fetus may get exposed to these medications4. Many filler are grown in bacterial media which means there may be some cross-reactivity in your blood that your fetus is exposed to.5. Fillers are not tested on pregnant women, so there really is no safety data available6.
