Question

I'm 21 and everytime I record myself I see that my mouth looks weird when i talk. Sometimes it's even not only cosmetic but also stops me from properly pronouncing words. I work in the industry where I have to constanty talk on camera, so that is why I need to get rid of this. I had a consultaion with one of the best cosmetic surgeons in LA,with a neuropathologist and a dentist. None could tell me whats wrong and how to fix it. Did lip fillers before, didn't seem to change anything.

Thank you for your question. Fillers to your mouth area may return some elasticity to your face, and give you the movement that you wish to have back. I suggest that you consult with your board certified facial plastic surgeon.

You would get a nice improvement with fillers for lip and cheek augmentation. Nova threads can also be used to improve lift and shape of the lips. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert to go over your desired results. Best, Dr. Emer
