Would I be able to have a chin reduction with soft tissue removal only?

Question

I think altering the bone would be difficult as I have quite a small square shaped face & wouldn't want to make my face appear any smaller. My chin sticks out quite a lot when I smile & I have lots of soft tissue on the end which I can feel. I would like to achieve a less square face when not smiling and a less witchy chin when smiling. Also What is the current price range for a chin reduction? Any advice appreciated. Thanks

The purpose of bone removal in many chin reductions is to allow the overlying soft tissues to be adequately reduced. Soft tissue reduction of the chin pad alone is rarely effective unless one has true chin ptosis or has had a prior chin implant removed or needs one removed. In addtion reducing the squareness of the chin at rest is going to require some bone reshaping as well.

Based upon your photos it is unlikely that soft tissue removal would achieve the chin shape you desire.  I would recommend contouring and shaving of the chin however a consultation would be necessary to determine exactly what operation would best suit you.
