4 days post op Smart Lipo on abs and back. Is it normal to feel the pulling of the stitches?

Hi it’s my 4th day after Smart Lipo, I had it on my lower abs higher abs lower back and higher back. My back is still very painful and sore and my stomach I can barely touch, I can feel the pulling of the stiches in the right hand side may my hips and ribs. Is this normal?

You will need to ask the doctor or nurse if the 1600 cc was it fat or total volume removed.  During Lipo, a combination of fat and tumescent solutions removed.  Some doctors like myself will let the patient know the exact amount of fat removed because thats what most patients care about.  ...

It’s highly advisable to wear a compression garment to control the swelling that occurs after smart lipo. The duration for wearing the garments will depend on your doctors’ recommendations and the type of procedure you undergo.

Hello, Thank you for the photo. At this point in the healing process it is too soon to tell if this will need to have a touch up or if it will smooth itself out, it is too early to judge the results. The appearance of the indentation will get better over time as you heal.
