I had fat grafting done a year ago that resulted in a lump under my left eye, it's only visible when I smile. Can Accutite help get rid of it? What are my other options? I tried to zap it will ulthera but it only made it worse since it seems to have only affected the lower part, and not the lump itself. Can surgery fix it?
Answer: Dark Circles/Eye Bags/Wrinkles -- Fillers Belotero, Volbella; Fraxel/Halo; emeragecosmetics ENLIGHTEN/AERIFY/COSMELAN this can be improved with accutite IF its fat but also with 5fu steroid inections. this looks more like your tendon that is just accentuated now that fat is there. I would start dermarolling at home (see link) at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (MTS roller with anteage MD ampules) should be started now. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles. A surgical option to remove skin and/or fat will such as lower eyelid blepharoplasty with or without fat pad repositioning will be the best long term. There are many things you can do to treat under eye hollows and dark circles without surgery. Non invasive less downtime options such as fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP, cosmelan peels, and microneedling RF like Fractora or morpheus can all help give some improvement. Accutite can often be used or stronger lasers like erbium or co2 spot treatment can tighten the skin and give very quick improvement in wrinkles and texture. I suggest you get a formal consultation to see what is best for you and your goals. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Accutite - eye "lump" I think this bunching of your eyelid muscle (called the Orbicularis Oculi) when you smile. I don't think Accutite would resolve this either. A blepharoplasty or eyelid lift though would improve this. Ulthera is a bit of outdated technology; the newer and more effective devices involve microneedling and energy. A good example of this type of treatment is Morpheus. If this really bothers you consider the blepharoplasty. Best Wishes!!

Answer: Intralesional Injections + Subcision May Help To Reduce Lumps From Fat Injections I am really sorry you are having this difficulty. Fat is a bulky, lumpy injectable and is far from ideal injecting thin, delicate areas, such as the under eye regions--precisely because lumps from their use can be quite difficult to treat. Ultherapy was unlikely to help very much and surgical removal runs the risk of leaving a visible scar. And Accutite would likewise prove another waste of time and money. While there is technically no dissolving agent for fat (unlike hyaluronidase for hyaluronic acid fillers), I have found subcision, to physically break up the lump, accompanied by the use of intralesional hyaluronidase and antiinflammatories, like triamcinolone (in high concentrations) to be useful in flattening bumps from permanent fillers. The fact is the patient that just left my office has successfully been treated for a prominent bump on the side wall of his nose that arose from the use of a permanent filler, Bellafill. You would be wise to seek out a board certified aesthetic physician to discuss the possibility of this approach. Best of luck.

Answer: Accutite Accutite can help with shrinking the fat as it uses Radio-frequency. Speak to your surgeon to also explain about the complications that can arise from this.

Answer: Fat Grafting Removal I would not recommend AccuTite for this issue. The localized lump may improve with AccuTite but it won't fully resolve your issue. If you are going to spend time and money resolving this issue you would be better off have surgery to remove the fat. A qualified surgeon will be able to directly remove the fat and restore a normal contour to the area. An approach from inside the eyelid will hide any scar.
