Under eye filler 1 month before rhinoplasty, can it migrate to the nose during surgery??

I am planning to have rhinoplasty within a month and I know it takes time for filler to settle. I am worried that some under eye filler can find its way to my nose while i am undergoing a CLOSED rhinoplasty. This can make my nose look horrendous. Is there a possibility that this could happen?

Hello, and thank you for your question. Fillers take about two to three weeks to fully settle into your skin. Also, If injected properly, facial filler should not migrate drastically to other parts of your face. That said, I highly recommend only seeking treatments from a reputable injector. Such experts will know how to precisely inject the filler to help you safely achieve your desired results. Make sure your rhinoplasty surgeon is aware of your filler treatment as well.

Thank you for your question. Although I don't know where the filler was placed exactly, it should be far enough away from the surgical site that migration would be unlikely, even if osteotomies are performed. Be sure to ask your surgeon as well. Hope that helps.
